About Our Courses

Our courses are split into groups based on age and ability, giving players the greatest chance to learn and to enjoy the coaching. We combine groups for some exercises to create a fun and exciting atmosphere and intergrate all children together.

All of our courses adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines as set out by the government and the LTA (our governing body). Currently this means that:

  • Smaller groups with a restricted number of pupils

  • Social distancing measures put in place

  • Toilet facilities are available (for emergency use only)

If you would like more information on our COVID-19 policy please follow this link to read more.

Due to these restrictions, places are more limited this year. If you are interested in attending we recommend you book early to avoid missing out.

We believe in quality coaching for everyone so keep our coach to pupil ratio low. The courses will be run by Excel Tennis Academy coaches. All our coaches are enthusiastic, highly experienced, qualified and DBS/CRB checked.

Why The Excel Tennis Academy?

The Excel Tennis Academy is so much more than just hitting balls. We create an environment where pupils not only learn how to play the game but develop their confidence, social skills, fitness and learn more about team work.

Pupils are taught to play tennis through a variety of activities and by the end of the week every player will have been taught all the basic strokes needed to play and we aim for all players to be able to rally and understand the rules of the game.
