Which session should I join?

​4 - 7 YEAR OLDS:

​

MORNING SESSIONS:

  • The focus of these sessions is to teach children the core skills to play tennis. 

  • Learning through fun and engaging activities player will develop throwing, catching, movement, ball judgement as well as learning how to hit the ball and how to play tennis

  • Players will not be hitting balls solidly for the whole time, our lessons focus on the players enjoyment and development and we use a variety of activities to give every player a positive learning experience.

SHORT COURSE:

  • For players aged 4 - 7 years old, 

  • If you are unsure if your child will want to stay for the full morning session we offer parents the chance to book and attend a short course 9am - 11am

  • We find that the vast majority of parents and players after the first day want to continue for the full morning sessions so upgrading to the full morning session can be arranged and the additional fee prorated.

8 - 16 YEAR OLDS:

MORNING SESSIONS:

  • Our morning sessions from 9am - 1pm are designed to teach children all the core skills to play tennis. 

  • Focusing on technical development for all the main shots of tennis taught through a variety of fun and engaging activities 

  • Perfect for all players of all ages and abilities.

Why Our Holiday Camps?

  • ​​​​​​​​​With low coach to pupil ratios we focus on player enjoyment and development within the sessions.

  • ​​The Excel Tennis Academy is so much more than just hitting balls. We create an environment where pupils not only learn how to play the game but also develop their confidence, social skills, fitness and learn more about team work. 

  • Pupils are taught to play tennis through a variety of activities and by the end of the week every player will have been taught all the core skills needed to play and we aim for all players to have a basic understanding of the game of tennis.​​

  • Due to having small group sizes places are limited. If you are interested in attending we recommend you book early to avoid missing out.​

  • Our courses are split into groups based on age and ability, giving players the greatest chance to learn and to enjoy the coaching. We combine groups for some exercises to create a fun and exciting atmosphere and integrate all children together.

Our new booking system makes it easier to book sessions and update your information, along with added benefits including 'spread the cost of your fees'.

You will be asked to register on your first booking and then your information will be safely stored, which speeds up your future bookings.
