We run sessions for children aged 4 - 16

The new term of coaching will run:

Monday 9th September for 13 weeks until Saturday 14th December

No Coaching During Half Term 28th October - 3rd November

Excel Participation Discount

10% discount - For Families or pupils who train in and are signed

up to our weekly term time coaching sessions 2 - 3 hours per week.

(Pay & Play Sessions not included)*

15% discount - For Families or pupils who train in and are signed

up to our weekly term time coaching sessions 4+ hours per week.

(Pay & Play Sessions not included)*

*Discount is not applicable to Pay & Play sessions.

Beginner sessions:

- These sessions introduce players to the core skills needed to play tennis.

- Players are new to the game and looking to start their tennis journey.

Improver sessions:

- Players are continuing to work on core skills to play tennis successfully.

- Players have participated in lessons for at least a year.

- Player have not yet started competing.

Development:

- Player should have a good understanding of core technique and tactical elements of the game.

- Players have had lessons for a number of years.

- Players have started competing or are looking to compete in junior league tennis and participate in our tennis festivals.

Academy:

- Players have a broad understanding of tennis technique and match-play tactics

- Players are training twice a week.

- Players are regularly participating in our tennis festivals.

- Players are playing in external tournaments.

- Players are playing in our junior league teams.

Junior Coaching Package

When you sign up for coaching lessons with the Excel Tennis Academy juniors get a specialised coaching package across all our venues.

The added benefits of the package for pupils and families have more opportunities to train, learn, play and develop.

The package includes:

Free T shirt in first full term registered (Please ask you coach on your second week of attendance)

An opportunity twice a year for 13+ year olds to gain a junior sports leaders award in tennis coaching.

Term Time Weekly Coaching Sessions

First sessions for FREE

To help get you started we offer everyone the chance to have their first group session for FREE. This allows you to make sure you are happy before committing to the rest of the term.

Low Coach - Pupil Ratios

We believe in quality coaching therefore our weekly group coaching sessions are kept to a maximum of 8 pupils - 1 coach. We often have experienced assistants working in the groups as well to aid player development.

All players in sessions are similar age and ability

To help pupils enjoy the coaching sessions and to become successful at tennis we organise all pupils based on age and ability.

Structured lessons

Each lesson is planned based on the individual needs of pupils within their coaching group helping all players to quickly improve.

Flexibility

To help players and parents get the most out of the tennis programme, If you miss a lesson for any reason, we offer the chance make up that session by joining alternative groups within that term.

Payment Options

With our term time coaching you can choose to pay in a variety of ways including Standing Orders and spread the coast of coaching. Discounts are also available with Standing Orders so the more you play the more you save.

Discounts

If you are a pupil in our term time coaching sessions you are offered discounts on holiday courses and individual lessons. including up to 20% off a weeks holiday course.

British Tennis

Membership

Pupils in the term time programme can apply for FREE British Tennis Membership. This membership has many benefits including the chance to win tickets to Wimbledon.
